Day 1 : Hometown - Hong Kong
Today, we start our vacation by bounding an international flight bound for Hong Kong.

Day 2 : Hong Kong - Chengdu (D)
We take a flight from Hong Kong to Chengdu. Upon arrival, we are met by Grand Holidays representative and transferred to hotel accommodation. Tonight, enjoy a night city tour followed after dinner.

Day 3 : Chengdu (B/L/D)
Chengdu is historically known as the capital of 'Heaven State' because of its agricultural abundance. Our Chengdu city tour starts with a visit to Dujiangyan Irrigation Project; a water works construction of over 2,000 years old that frequently flooded the Chengdu plain making it a rich agricultural region. Proceed to the Wuhou Memorial Temple, a temple built in dedication to Zhuge Liang, one of the greatest strategists in the Three Kingdoms. A variety of Chengdu snacks are served for dinner. After dinner, enjoy a great opportunity to attend a Sichuan Opera, in which performers would change masks in the blink of an eye.

Day 4 : Chengdu - Emeishan (B/L/D)
This morning, we take a car ride to Leshan. Our tour of Leshan includes a scenic cruise on Min River, which provides us a close-up view of the Leshan Giant Buddha and the Giant Sleeping Buddha. As we come near on Lingyunshan where Min River, Qingyi River and Dadu River meet, we can marvel at the largest stone-carved sitting Buddha statue in the world. Later, we continue our tour visit to Emeishan.

Day 5 : Emeishan (B/L/D)
Emeishan is one of the sacred Buddhist Mountains in China, renowned for both its natural beauty and historical Buddhist sites. This morning we travel to the Golden Summit of Emeishan by cable car. At 3077m, the summit is the best place to experience the natural wonders of Emeishan such as the Sea of Clouds. At the mountain base, we continue our tour visit to Baoguo Temple, followed by Fuhu Temple.

Day 6 : Emeishan - Chengdu (B/L/D)
After a hearty breakfast, we transfer back to Chengdu for a visit at the Panda Reserve Base. These gentle giant pandas are national treasure and goodwill ambassadors of China. Enjoy a valuable opportunity to take close-up photos of the pandas and learn about the process of how they are bred and raised. For dinner tonight we savor a taste of Sichuan hotpot dishes.

Day 7 : Chengdu - Huanglong - Jiuzhaigou (B/L/D)
Board a domestic flight bound for Jiuzhaigou. Upon arrival, we travel to Huanglong Valley, which was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and famed for its outstanding travertine formations, crystal clear ponds, snow clad mountains, valley and vast forest. From the ponds, you can see the interwoven reflection of verdant trees, snowy-top peaks, pristine clouds and sky, which creates a magical landscape. (*Huanglong Scenic Area is not open to tourist during snow periods, which a tour visit to Zhaga Waterfall will apply.)

Day 8 : Jiuzhaigou (B/L/D)
A full-day sightseeing tour starts with a visit to Jiuzhaigou National Park. Listed as a World Heritage Site, Jiuzhaigou is well known for its natural wonders and breathtaking sceneries of alpine lakes and spectacular waterfalls. Explore the fantasy of Jiuzhaigou while we visit scenic areas such as Shuzheng Vally, Rize Valley and Zharu Valley. Next, proceed to Long Lake, the largest lake in Jiuzhaigou Valley surrounded by beautiful forests, mountains and valleys. In the evening, enjoy local dishes for dinner accompanied by a Tibetan and Qiang ethnic song and dance performance.

Day 9 : Jiuzhaigou - Chengdu (B/L/D)
Today we continue our sightseeing tour in Jiuzhaigou Valley and appreciate the most captivating landscape before transferring to the airport for our flight bound for Chengdu.

Day 10: Chengdu - Changsha (B/L/D)
We board a short flight to Changsha. Enjoy a half-day city tour, followed by a delicious Hunan cuisine for dinner. Later, visit the night market and experience the shopping fun at Huangxing Road.

Day 11: Changsha - Changde - Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we travel to Changde City to visit Taohuayuan Scenic Area. The theme of this major sight is originated from a well-known classical poem written by Tao Yuanming. In the afternoon we travel to Zhangjiajie by car. Tonight, enjoy the famous Shanzhen dinner.

Day 12: Zhangjiajie - Huangshizhai (round trip cable car ride) (B/L/D)
Zhangjiajie is famous for its mist-shrouded 'peak-forests' that are rarely found anywhere else. Take a cable car to the summit of Huangshizhai for a panoramic view of the mountainside and mysterious primeval forests. Golden Whip Creek, which is named after a whip-shaped rock by the creek, is a deep valley of exotic flowers and plants, caves, ponds and interesting rock formations. Four Creeks Gate is the confluence of the four creeks of the valley. Tonight, enjoy Zhangjiajie Bamboo Tube banquet for dinner.

Day 13: Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
This morning, we travel to Yuanjiajie by the highest and fastest open elevator in the world. Main scenic spots of Yuanjiajie include Back Garden, Mihun Stage, and the First Bridge under the Sun. Next, we ride a cable car to the summit of Tianzi Mountain. As we reach close to the summit at 4,000 feet above sea level, we can get a full view of the pillar-peaks rising out of an ocean of clouds. Next, proceed to Helong Park, followed by a visit to Ten-Mile Gallery, where vivid pictures formed by the mountainous area. For dinner tonight, we are served the famous Tujia delicacy.

Day 14: Zhangjiajie - Changsha (B/L/D)
Morning tour takes us to Yellow Dragon Cave, which is renowned as a beautiful scenic yard and made up of two dry sections and two water sections. The yard consists of over 1,000 'white jade' ponds and over 10,000 stalactites and stalagmites of various shapes and sizes. In the afternoon, we drive to Bao Feng Lake for a scenic cruise. This splendid lake is truly an artistic creation of nature while the superlative scenery reflected off the gleaming surface of the lake makes an unforgettable sight. Next, we visit the Ethnic Art Gallery to view the spectacular sand paintings before we return to Changsha.

Day 15: Changsha - Hong Kong - Hometown (B)
Morning visit to Yuelu Academy, one of the four most prestigious academies in China over the last 1000 years. It was originally a training ground for scholars since Song Dynasty and it eventually becomes the site of Hunan University today. In the afternoon, we transfer to the airport for a flight to Hong Kong.
