This morning, we visit Tiananmen Square, at 110 acres, the largest square in the world, We then proceed to the Forbidden City, the former imperial palace of the Qing and Ming emperors, where, for over five centuries, commoners were forbidden to enter. After lunch, we visit the largest imperial garden in China, the Summer Palace, followed by a visit to the Temple of Heaven, where Ming and Qing emperors prayed annually for a good harvest. Tonight, enjoy a roasted Peking duck banquet, and then attend an acrobatics show.

Today's sightseeing highlight is the Great Wall of China, an UNESCO world heritage site. This magnificent structure, over two millennium old and over 4,100 miles in length, is a testament to the greatness and endurance of Chinese culture, Our next stop is Ming Tombs. The largest and best preserved royal burial grounds in the world, this is the final resting place of 13 emperors and some of their wives.

Day 5: Beijing - Shanghai - Wuxi (B/L/D)
This morning depart Beijing to the most modern city, Shanghai. After lunch in Shanghai, start process tour to Wuxi. We take a scenic cruise on Tai Lake in a traditional boat. We then visit Turtle Head Isle Park, which is designated as a national scenic park. Tai Lake produces beautiful pearls, and a visit to a Pearl Gallery is scheduled. Enjoy the famous local dinner tonight.

Day 6: Wuxi - Suzhou - Suzhou Old Street (Water Village) - Hangzhou (B/L/D)
We proceed to the ancient city of Suzhou, a place of elegant private gardens, sumptuous silk fabrics, and ancient temples. Our city tour includes the Humble Administrator's Garden, one of the four most famous classical gardens in China; Hanshan Temple, famous for its historic relics and bell rings; After lunch our tour will go to Suzhou Old Street, which had almost 1200 years history and a very fiourishing place in the past years, also called 'Qi Li Shan Tang', a picturesque Southern China town famed for its canals, bridges, and traditional houses. Then continue to a silk factory, for an in depth introduction to the whole process of silk fabric produc-tion, Enjoy a delicious dinner of Suzhou Food.

Hangzhou is a city traditionally referred to as 'Heaven on Earth' by travelers. The city is known for the beauty of its West Lake and the many scenic sites along the shores. Yuefei Tomb is dedicated to the folk hero Yuefei; this region is famous for the superior quality of its green tea; we'll visit a tea plantation for a tasting session. In the late afternoon, process to Shanghai, a city that exudes modern sophistication and historical charm. Our orientation tour includes Ming Dynasty Yu Garden, a lively commercial area of traditional shops and houses. You have a chance to shop for the local souvenirs. After Shanghai dumplings dinner, night tour visit to night market.
