Today, our vacation begins as our international flight takes us across the International Date Line to Beijing, the capital of China.
Day 2 : Beijing (D)
Arrive at Beijing, we are met by our tour guide and transferred to the local restaurant for dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Beijing (B/L/D)
This morning, we visit Tiananmen Square, one of the largest public squares in the world. The Forbidden City was the former imperial palace for the Ming and Qing Emperors, which commoners were forbidden to enter for over five centuries. It is the world¡¯s largest surviving palace complex that draws the attention of millions of travelers and visitors from around the world. After lunch, we visit the most noted and classical garden in China, the Summer Palace, followed by the Temple of Heaven, an ancient sacrificial building where Ming and Qing Emperors prayed annually for a good harvest. Tonight, enjoy a Peking roast duck banquet, and attend a spectacular acrobatic performance.

Day 4 : Beijing - Great Wall - The Ming Tombs (B/L/D)
Today, our sightseeing tour begins with a visit to the Great Wall of China, which is recently announced as one of the New Seven Wonders. With a history of more than 250 years, the Great Wall stretches approximately 7,300 km from east to west of China. We then visit a huge Jade exhibition hall, followed by the Ming Tombs, the world¡¯s largest well-preserved mausoleum. Because of its long history and palatial architecture, the tomb site holds significant historic and cultural value. At the site, we can see the mausoleums of 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty.

Day 5 : Beijing-Xian (B/L)
We board a morning flight to Xian, the ancient capital that was once called Chang¡¯an. During the Tang Dynasty, it was the most populous city, which marked the starting point of the world-famous Silk Road. Our city tour visits a five-century old city wall and its bell towers. After lunch, proceed to the ancient Big Wild Goose Pagoda, followed by a visit to the History Museum.

Day 6 : Xian (B/L/D)
Our full day Xian tour includes a visit to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors. The life-sized terracotta figures of warriors and horses size attract thousands of travelers and tourist each year. We then visit Huaqing Pool, a natural hot spring with a history of approximately 6,000 years. Tonight, enjoy the famous Xian dumpling dinner and a Tang Dynasty dance performance.

Day 7 : Xian-Guilin (B/L/D)
Take a morning flight to Guilin. A city tour takes us to Elephant Trunk Hill, the symbol of Guilin. The shape of the hill resembles an elephant drinking water from the river with its trunk, hence, the name Elephant Trunk Hill. After lunch, proceed to Fubo Hill to see the natural scenery of stalactite and stalagmites.

Day 8. Guilin - Yangshuo (B/L/D)
Enjoy a scenic cruise down the Li River, where the natural beauty of landscape is truly mesmerizing and unforgettable. The cruise ends as we arrive at Yangshuo, a lively riverside town that is extremely popular with foreign travelers. Enjoy some free time to explore the cafes and shops in Yangshuo, followed by a visit to Reed Flute Cave, a water-eroded cave with various stalactites, stone pillars and fascinating rock formations. Tonight, we enjoy a specially arranged minority folklore dance.

Day 9 : Guilin-Guangzhou (B)
Transfer to the airport for a flight to Guangzhou or surcharge to Hong Kong. (Transportation from Guangzhou to Hong Kong at own expense for passengers who wish to stay behind.)
